Today we turned our boat around. Now this may not sound like a big deal but to us it was another step to achieving our dreams. When we bought our Widebeam up river in the spring she developed engine trouble about 300 metres outside the marina and it’s taken this long for the local marine engineering firm to fix. (A long story I will have to tell in another post.)
Today was the first time we have felt sufficiently happy with it to reverse away from our pontoon and then reverse back in.
So now we get to sit on the Bow in the afternoon sunshine looking out over the marina. It really is a beautiful place to rest. A good book and a glass of Coke completes the picture.
